25 09 2008

This season’s Heroes premiere was down 25% in viewership compared to last years numbers. Regardless of those numbers, we still present Swipe’s Man of the Moment, Heroe’s star, Milo Ventimiglia. With a whole new season ahead of you loyal fans, we’d like to take the time to tip our hat to one of the shows more stylist cast members. Other than having co-star Hayden Panettiere as his girlfriend, we’d also like to give props to Milo for his recent tour of Iraq earlier this year. You can read about his experiences at Men’s Vogue. With all that said, we just hope this season’s Heroes: Villains will be an intriguiing one. More photos of Milo after the jump.

Swipe Girl of the Moment: Aubrey O’Day from Complex Magazine

25 09 2008

Aubrey O’Day is one of those guilty pleasures, especially now that she’s done this photoshoot with Complex Magazine. We can’t say that we’re fans of Danity Kane here at Swipe, but we know a pretty hot blonde when we see one. This post was debatable. I’ve told myself, that I would only put girls up here that really deserved it because of their talents and their behavior out of the public eye. Damn it. Either way, let’s just all blame Complex Magazine for this one.

T-Mobile G1

25 09 2008

Let’s see: touchscreen, keyboard, and PC capabilities. With those features as its major selling points, its hard to ignore the fact that the T-Mobile G1 will try to go against the iPhone in some crazy mobile phone epic battle. At this point, there’s really nothing bad to say about the G1. It’s powered by Google’s Android software, has easier Gmail capabilities, and has a lower price tag at $179. This could be great for T-Mobile customers who could care less about an iPhone. But until this phone comes out (slated for an October 22nd release), we’re going to have to say that iPhone reigns supreme for the moment. They still have the Blackberry Bold and Thunder to worry about.
